On a wildlife film shoot in Amboseli National Park, Kenya, we were driving back to camp for lunch, when the lighting is quite harsh and a lot of the animals are looking for shelter. It was a calm day, so the water was very still, that was when we noticed this zebra walking across a shallow body of water with a near perfect reflection. I had to act fast, as the body of water was quite small, but I managed to capture the scene on camera.
This is one of my favourite photos, as I am a sucker for a good wildlife water reflection, I always think they look so impressive!
Zebra Reflection
I recommend a border of at least 1cm just so you don't lose any of the picture in the mounting or framing process. I personally like to use a larger border (around 3cm) on the larger prints, especially if you don't intend on mounting them, this is more for aesthetic reasons.
A 12x16" print with a mount would require a 16x20" frame
